Duties and Responsibilities

Key Skills:

  • Ability to maintain a stable and secure server environment
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
  • Maintain accurate documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Adhere to patch management policies and IT compliance standards
  • Expertise in Windows Server (2008–2022) and Windows Clusters
  • Proficiency in managing DNS, File Server, RDP, Print Services, and KMS
  • Experience with VMware for VM deployment, cloning, and template management
  • Familiarity with monitoring and replacing hardware components (Dell/HP)
  • Competent in incident handling, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning
  • Capable of guiding L1 support teams and overseeing daily operational tasks

Work Environment:

  • 24/7 operational support
  • 6 working days per week with a rotating weekly off

Job Responsibilities:

Server Administration & Infrastructure Management:

  • Administer Windows Server environments (2008–2022) and Windows Clusters
  • Configure and manage DNS, File Server, RDP, Print Services, and KMS
  • Execute patching, operating system upgrades, and server migrations
  • Deploy, clone, and manage virtual machines using VMware templates

Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Team Oversight:

  • Monitor server health and performance using Dell and HP tools
  • Replace faulty hardware components as needed
  • Troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and ensure performance optimization
  • Lead and mentor L1 teams in handling daily IT operations and user support
